Health & Safety in the Workplace Awareness

The Emergency First Aid at Work training today was exactly what I hoped for, how to respond if someone is unconscious, how to do CPR, how to cover a wound and deal with a burn.  Excellent presentation, clear, thorough and good responses to questions.   11.11.16

Every aspect of the Emergency First Aid at Work was presented well and explained very well.  The day was a good mix between theory and practical.  I learned how to perform CPR, how to bandage a cut, deal with burns, shock, choking patient and use of a defibrillator. Really enjoyed the course and have really become more knowledgeable about first aid.  Great tutor who made the learning fun and easy to remember.  16.12.16

Moving & Handling of People Training

Really good course and very helpful, it was 3 hours and not at all boring.  Learned how to concentrate on significant issues and worked in pairs.  Training was well presented in a relaxed manner and was interesting and informative.   Laura 9.3.17.

Risk Assessment Training

The training was provided by a knowledgeable and experienced instructor, and tailored to our workplace. Covered muscles and movement when stretching and moving heavy objects and how to safely carry out moving and handling of packages or heavy objects.   Good to look at workplace problems which was very helpful.  Very useful, lively and memorable.   Frank 4.3.17.

Moving & Handling of People Training

I would highly recommend the Moving & Handling of Patients training provided by SSTAR. The theory and practical training was very good, we all practised using hoists and slings and learned how to move clients safely. The presentation was very professional.
