COSHH - Control of Substances Hazardous to Health training
Advising participants how to protect themselves from hazardous substances at work. How to identify and control those substances. Minimize the risks from exposure to those substances. Provides the information and training to help Staff perform their job safely. Includes CIEH Examination.
Fire Safety Training
This half day course is available to enable employers to comply with current Fire Safety Regulations, and to advise course members on the procedures to use when dealing with a fire emergency. Training is provided by a retired Fire Service Officer.
Fire Risk Assessment Training
The course is designed for business managers and provides a grounding of knowledge of the Legal and Professional responsibilities of the Health and Safety Legislation in respect of Fire Risk Assessment. The course examines practical ways of assessing risk within the manager’s own work environment and includes time for problem solving.
Health & Safety Intermediate Level
This course is for Supervisors/Managers with the responsibility for Health & Safety within their organisation. Delegates are required to have a good grounding in Health & Safety, ie prefereablly having completed the Level 2 Award.
National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) (RLSS) (ISRM)
This is a comprehensive training course to become a Lifeguard. It covers all aspects of general lifegaurd training as well as site specific issues. Suitable for staff working in Hotel swimming pools, Club swimming pools, Hospital or Clinic swimming pools, Care Home swimming pools.
National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (RLSS) (NRASTC)
This course is for those with responsibility for supervising swimming groups, and is accredited by Lifesavers, the Royal Lifesaving Society and recognised by Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), Swimming Teachers Association (STA), Institute of Sport and Recreation Management (ISRM) and the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches (ISTC).
